Problem Definition
At scale, monetization in a token-based, Web2-first product introduces a compounded risk: traditional ads extract attention and erode trust, partner placements optimize for exposure rather than user understanding, and sponsored rewards can distort token economics through uncontrolled distribution. The challenge was to design revenue mechanisms that add value before capturing it, align partner success with meaningful user participation, and operate within the same economic constraints governing engagement, so monetization could scale without degrading trust, behavior, or long-term ecosystem health.
System Solution
We designed monetization surfaces around participation, progression, and eligibility.
Rewarded Ads placed in Spin and Win, Daily Flip and in On chain transactions Create our only sources of Display Ads.
Learn and Earn and Quests were created with salability in mind. Our partners sponsor lesson and in return they get access to our user base and interact with them.
Rewards the next avenue where partners can interact with our audience and sponsor prize draws
Revenue scaled through earned engagement, not interruption, aligning user trust, partner outcomes, and long-term token health.
